Choking Purple Hues

Choking sadness
escapes my ears
swirling around
in a noose around my neck
paralyzing energy
trying to escape
droplets frozen in fear
of falling out of bounds
bounds of walls
gates of indifference
locked with rusted locks
of disappointment and shame
disbelief suspends in ruby shatters
melting from the flames of despair
reaching the sadness trying to end it all
smoke spirals through
cracks in the facade
brought upon my own ice picker
