Framed upon the wall 
Yellowed and crumbling 
Never to be again
The background masked
Behind lifeless eyes
You chose never to see
The frame--warped
Contorting reality & dream
The wind of the world
Fades into black
 Once bright colors 
 Fade into oblivion
Scenery once scenic
Now a nightmare
Fingerprints smudge 
the perfect picture
Into whirlpools of grey
Frame illusions
So clear of truth
