Anchoring ankles
Acid quicksand
Swallowing thoughts
Mindless climb
Hands blistering
Grappling rugged terrain
Blood stretching 
Gazing up at darkness
Harsh lights glare
Reflecting glass below
Gaping mouth
Razor blades 
Slicing angels
Burning souls 
Escaping demons 
My mind never rests
